Might Want To Put A Pin In It – Part Three

The third in a series on the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) platform because voters need to know what candidates and parties really believe.

I guess we can always get another climate—and more species.

RPT Principle # 16: …“Climate change” is a political agenda promoted to control every aspect of our lives. We support the defunding of “climate justice” initiatives, the abolition of the Environmental Protection Agency and repeal of the Endangered Species Act.”

This is what happens when too many Democrats live in coastal areas or new species are involved in drafting platform planks.

Because $7.25 an hour is just too damn much.

RPT Principle # 25: We believe the Minimum Wage Act should be repealed.

There are no words.

Because this Beto thing is becoming annoying.

RPT Principle # 56: We support the repeal of the 17th Amendment of the United States Constitution and the appointment of United States Senators by state legislatures.

It’s not a news flash the Republicans don’t trust voters—if they did they would stop trying to suppress them. It is however rare for them to openly express their utter disdain for the expression of citizens preferences. We can only speculate they left out “in the unlikely circumstance that Democrats should control the Legislature U. S. Senators will be appointed by the RPT Executive Committee.”

Had enough? Like. Share. Help. Thank you.
